Was actually surprised to see I hadn't left a review since I'd eaten here several times before when I worked across the street but better late than never. Came here for a weekday lunch after a family event. About 25 of us and we were given a private-ish seating area. Lunch is $18.99 for adults and they have discounts for senior citizens. The food is the usual you'd see at an Asian buffet. Sushi, Chinese food, some American fare, soup, Teppanyaki and dessert options like cake and ice cream. Really good amount of options given the price. Service was nice. Ample parking in this lot. Nothing fancy about this place but can't go wrong if you want a local all you can eat place.

I was invited as a guest to the baptism of my cousin's daughter. The reception was held in this buffet restaurant in Woodland Hills. Sumo Asian Buffet & Grill offers a vast selection of Asian cuisine in a casual, all-you-can-eat buffet setting. Definitely so many dish choices including Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and Thai. It's impossible to try them all. My fave was the teppanyaki cuz it's freshly made. There's also several varieties of desserts and ice cream. While it might not be the most refined dining experience, it delivers on variety, flavor, and value, making it a solid choice for a satisfying meal.

I came here to celebrate Easter with my family today. We wanted to avoid the Easter rush of all families trying to celebrate a big holiday at the same time so we came at 10:40am to get pre-in-line to be the first ones there right when they opened. It was a success because we were the 2nd family to get sat when they opened at 11am. We got first dibs on all their delicious buffet options from sushi, variety of seafoods, stir fried yummies, ceviche styled chunks of salmon sushi chunks and tuna sushi chunks, variety of soups like hot and sour soup, egg foo young, clam chowder, and a wide variety of fruits and dessert options. I love this place because my retired parents seem to love this place. They feel like it's the best variety of delectable food options ever because it's offered at an unlimited rate. I like this place because they like this place. It's a steal for all you can eat. By the time we left there was a huge line out the door so if you plan to avoid the rush go first thing when they open.

Returning after "over 4 years"! My blushing bride and I had dinner at Sumo Asian Buffet last night. A good date night! Deciding on when to go was a bit of a challenge as we were hungry early yet there was concern on my part that we'd be too early for fresh food. I was completely wrong as there were other early diners and fresh food, for the most part, was constantly being brought out. The greeting and service were very friendly and welcoming. Good service provided by all. There is a lot of choice, some better than others but most quite good. Disappointing was some of the seafood: sandy clams, greasy crab, chewy spicy squid, and even chewier hot squid. The crawfish looked good but I didn't try them. The rest, though, quite tasty. The desserts... stick to the ice cream or some of the fruit as the rest was really dry. We ate a lot. I ate more.

As of late, I've been loving this buffet whenever I'm having a craving for way too many things!!! Especially seafood. The taste and flavor of the buffet items are really good and above standard. I try to go for more than one round but I often fail. The food fills me up so quick!! I enjoy the shrimp offered here, the fish, and the soups are nice and delicious. I wasn't a big fan of the poke options because it felt too saucy and acidic. I am pretty neutral with the sushi because the ones I want are in spicy rolls. But the spicy rolls are really spicy and I can't handle spice so I opt for the baked fish more!! I love going to both lunch and dinner. For lunch, I get the amazing marinated Korean short ribs, & for dinner I get the deliciously baked scallops or baked crab meat. I think the prices are fully worth it and the service is quick and fast-- always clearing my plates or refilling my waters.

Oh so yummy! The buffet staff welcomed my partner and I when we came in. The aroma of the foods filled the air and we were so excited to grab food to eat. We were both SO full from our first round of foods. Food I grabbed: Fried shrimp- crunchy & perfectly fried with soft flavorful interior Beef w/ broccoli- very saucy and creamy soft beef, broccoli was large in size and plentiful Baked salmon filet- my favorite pick out of the buffet! was soo soft, warm, and tender. It filled my craving of salmon! Orange chicken- Crunchy, soft and flavorful. Perfect orange chicken taste and was very filling. korean short rib- Super delicious! Rare to find in a buffet and it was tender and soft. It's delicious to clean up the rib bones. coconut shrimp- Saucy, soft and crunchy exterior. A great mix of the coconut sauce with the shrimp meat! Soup: Clam chowder soup: Warm and delicious, not too strong on flavor, I'd say on the bland side, but it complemented my other food choices well Sushi rolls: Tofu roll- It was really good and paired well with the seaweed salad inside Spicy salmon roll- The sauce actually was really spicy to me, I was needing gulps of water for this.. but so good! Baked salmon roll- It was alright, a very typical sushi roll Baked eel roll- Was yummy! The eel was very thin but the sauce enhanced the flavor of the eel well. Service was great, we got waters refilled. Seating was quick and servers checked up on us often. This place is great for groups and for duos!

After a long drive from Santa Maria, we stopped by Costco Gas and decided to eat as we were really hungry since we still had 3 more hrs before we reached home. I saw this place across the street and even though I knew there were a few bad reviews, we wanted to give it a try. Honestly, my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed this place. They had our favorite seafood options and we loved it. The place is spacious and had plenty of seats on a Tuesday night. They had a waiter that was constantly keeping an eye out so that he could take away plates and refill drinks which was awkward at first but we appreciated the quickness after a while. For the price, I honestly can say that it was a good deal. The cooks are constantly refilling the empty trays and so you're guaranteed the food is fresh. We definitely have this place bookmarked for when we're in the area. A side note: the bathrooms need some tlc. It's just poorly kept.
